🌸 Meet Flower – A Sweetheart With a Little Sass!
Sometimes, the most beautiful flowers just need the right place to bloom. And this particular Flower? Well, she came with a few thorns!
When Flower first arrived at the rescue, she wasn't exactly campaigning for Miss Congeniality. Frightened, overwhelmed, and thoroughly unimpressed with her temporary accommodations, she made her feelings known with hisses and swats. Let's just say she developed a reputation for being a little spicy!
But Flower had a surprise in store.
The moment she arrived at her foster home and stepped out of her carrier, she began rubbing against her foster family's legs, looking for affection.
Apparently, Flower wasn't looking for a fight. She was looking for a home.
Since then, she's blossomed into a sweet, affectionate little companion who loves curling up on a warm lap during television time, sleeping near her people's feet, and running to greet them at the door when they come home.
She's also discovered the joys of soft blankets, comfortable couches, and stretching out in a sunny spot without a care in the world. She's clearly getting the hang of this being-spoiled business!
Flower is a gorgeous tortoiseshell tabby, or tortie, with a silky coat of warm caramel, copper, brown, and black, beautiful golden-green eyes, and an adorable mix of light and dark whiskers.
Now, Flower is still a lady who knows her own mind! She can be a little skittish, and while she loves affection, she sometimes prefers it in smaller doses. She's happiest with people who understand her signals and respect her personal space.
And her tail? It seems to have a personality all its own. That little thing is almost always on the move!
Flower would thrive in a calm, loving home with patient people who appreciate a cat with character. Because she hasn't gotten along with another cat in the past, she would likely be happiest as the only feline in the household.
Flower isn't a difficult cat who needs someone to fix her. She's a lovely cat who just needed someone to understand her.
Her foster family has had the pleasure of watching her blossom, and now she's ready to find someone who will love her for exactly who she is.
After all, even the prettiest flowers sometimes have a few thorns.
