A Tiny Kitten, A Broken Leg,
a Second Chance: Help Save Sage

Sage is a 3-month-old black-and-white kitten with the softest fur and the biggest personality.

We rescued her from the streets of Toronto in August, along with three siblings, when she was just 8 weeks old. She was the one who ran to greet you, batted at every toy, and curled up with her littermates at nap time.

Then she suffered a devastating injury. X-rays showed her left thigh bone is completely broken, with the two ends shifted out of line. She's on strong pain medication and confined to a tiny cage, because any movement could make it worse. The light in her eyes has dimmed. She's hurting, and she doesn't understand why.

Without surgery, her leg would heal crooked, leaving her in lifelong pain. Our only other options were amputation or euthanasia. As a small rescue with limited funds, we honestly didn't know how to save her.

Then Animal Aid & Adoption stepped in and offered to cover the cost of Sage's surgery up front. She now has a real chance, but that cost still needs to be repaid, and that's where you come in.

Your donation will:

  • Repay Sage's surgery and specialized vet care

  • Cover her pain medication and recovery

  • Help both rescues keep saving cats like Sage

  • Help give Sage the best change at recovery & adoption

Every donation is eligible for a tax receipt (over $25) through Animal Aid & Adoption, a registered charity. Sage is still just a baby with so much love to give. Help her run, play, and find her forever home on four healthy legs.

Thank you for opening your heart to her. Every dollar matters.
