Introducing Rizzo!!

Female DOB: Jan 20, 2024 (Estimated)

Meet Rizzo, the frisky feline who, despite her small size, has the BIGGEST personality. With her silky black fur that glimmers under the light, she is endlessly entertaining to everyone she encounters. Rizzo possesses an insatiable curiosity and a playful nature (mostly due to her obsession with a laser pointer toy), making her a source of endless amusement. Once she gets to know you, she adores getting endless scratchies, often purring contentedly as she basks in the affection. She may be small, but she makes up for it with her voice - she will make her presence known, reminding everyone that she’s “the boss.” Her playful antics, especially when chasing the elusive red dot of the laser pointer, never fail to bring smiles to the faces of those around her.

Rizzo's remarkable journey began in a hoarding environment filled with overwhelming clutter. Her story is one of incredible survival. Rizzo has bravely navigated a past filled with uncertainty and neglect, emerging as a resilient, quirky, and sweet companion. After a four-month stay in foster care, Rizzo had the invaluable opportunity to refine her social skills, allowing her to blossom. During her time in foster care, she learned how to build trust and love with humans. She met new cats and a dog, helping her develop a playful rapport with other animals. Now that Rizzo has overcome many challenges in her early years, she’s ready to find a loving, forever home where she can continue to thrive and share her joyful spirit with a family that appreciates her unique qualities.

Rizzo is a healthy 2-year-old female cat, confirmed by a thorough vet wellness check 
She is microchipped 
All her vaccinations are up to date, and she has been spayed

Social Skills

Would thrive in a multi-cat household. She shared her room with another foster cat (older, male cat), and they were often seen snuggling together.
Okay with dogs. During her time in foster, she lived with a large dog (separated by a gate), and was never fearful, just curious.
Would better thrive in a household without young kids (under 12). Because of her rough upbringing, loud and sudden movements can spook her. She will have an easier time making friends with adults and older children.
